Postdoctoral fellow position available at the University of Guelph
We have an opportunity for a post-doctoral fellow to join our research group consisting of graduate students, postdoctoral fellow and visiting professors. Our research group is dedicated tousing biotechnological approaches to enhancedisease resistance and animal production.
This position is ideally suited to a highly motivated candidate who has strong background in molecular biology and recombinant protein production using microorganism as a host.The candidate must have a PhD degree in a related field obtained within the lastfive years.The candidate must possessexcellent working knowledge of standard laboratory tasks, and be familiar with the latest technologies for investigating gene expression and function. An excellent publication record is desired. Prior experience with yeast manipulation is preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
The position is available for one year and renewable, based on performance.
